During my recent stay at a motel in Darwin, I was kinda surprised by the helpfulness and flexibility of the staff. They provided great tourism advice and were accommodating with our check-in and check-out times. The motel itself may not be the newest, but it was clean and tidy, making it suitable for our one-night stopover. The comfortable bed in our room ensured a good night's sleep, and we enjoyed easy access to the nice pool area. The location was peaceful and convenient, with downtown and tourist attractions within reach by car. Plus, there was a lovely pub just across the road and cold drinks and chocolates available at the office. I had a positive experience and would recommend this motel to others.

I wanted a clean tidy twin room to crash in for one night. It was both of those and the bed was reasonable. For a cheaper range Motel it met my needs adequatelly.
I would have liked brreakfast supplied, or maybee some plates and bowls etc to have breakfast with.

I spent Christmas at this motel and it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and tidy, with comfortable beds to sleep on. The motel was situated conveniently close to some great restaurants and bars, which made it easy to have a good time during the holiday season. , the staff was friendly and welcoming, making my stay even better.
The motel was lacking in amenities. There was no free Wi-Fi available in the rooms and the bathroom could have done with an upgrade.

The motel had a great central location, making it easy to explore the city and visit nearby attractions. the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, which was a big plus for me as it's an important factor in any accommodation.
The bed was quite uncomfortable, with squeaky and bumpy springs that made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the noise situation late into the night was also a downside, as it disrupted my rest.

There was a smell inside our fridge which was quite unpleasant, but everything else was great!!!

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Nature
At our little getaway, we found ourselves surrounded by nature's beauty with the lush greenery and friendly orange-footed scrub hens. the accommodating staff made us feel truly at home, always ready to assist with a warm smile. the location proved to be ideal, with the botanic gardens just a short walk away, allowing us to immerse ourselves in nature's tranquility. Cullen Bay marina and charming little shops were within walking distance, providing a delightful experience.
We did find that there weren't many restaurant options nearby, which required us to explore further for dining choices.

Convenient location; only 15 minute walk from either CBD or Mindil beach.
A bit spartan for the money. But everything was there and functional, though the AC was iffy (we didn't really need it).

The old in charge was very friendly and helpful. It initially feels out of the way but the brisk walk up to town or over to the Fishermans Wharf for a meal was acceptable and did one good after a tedious day at work. Parking was available for every day I was there.
